Grain fields lying on gently rolling hills; old farmohouses in the shadow of dark cypress trees; amazing wines enjoyed at sunset… If you are imaging at this, you are certainly thinking to the Val d’Orcia, a protected area in the heart of Tuscany.

Our day together will start early in the morning: I’ll lead you towards Pienza for a guided visit at the tiny charming village, then we’ll have a tasting of its amazing Pecorino cheese in a farm on the hilltop, overlooking one of the most famous panorama of Italy.

We’ll continue through the curvy roads of these hills, surrounded by old cypresses trees and large expanses of wheat, direction Montalcino where we’ll have our lunch in a typical trattoria into the historical centre.

We can’t miss -of course – a wine tasting of His Majesty the Brunello di Montalcino at an organic winery, one of my favourites in the area.
