Art and culture on-line courses
My courses are designed with a clear purpose: to restore art history and the landscape to their deeper meaning, beyond academic narratives and mass tourism. Florence and Tuscany are not just open-air museums but living territories, shaped by centuries of ideas, visions, and transformations.
For this reason, my study programs are divided into two main areas:
- HISTORY OF ART. Art as a Living Language.
A journey through art history, focusing on Florence and Tuscany, from the birth of perspective to Caravaggio’s revolution. Not just a list of artists and masterpieces, but an exploration of how art has shaped Western thought and continues to engage with the present. - GENIUS LOCI. The Landscape of Imagination.
Moving beyond the boundaries of art, this section explores the relationship between humans and nature: from landscape in Tuscan art to Renaissance gardens, and finally, to the responses that ecology, philosophy, and contemporary art offer in the face of the environmental crisis. A way to rediscover the Genius Loci, the spirit of places, and rethink our connection with the world we inhabit.
Each course is designed for those who want to go deeper, who seek connections between past and present, and who understand that art and nature are not just subjects of study but keys to understanding reality.

If you’re planning a trip to Florence, these courses can be a perfect prelude to your journey. They offer a way to immerse yourself in the city’s art, history, and cultural layers before experiencing them in person, enriching your visit with a deeper perspective.
